Since 1975, Home and Community Options, Inc. (HCO) has served children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Winona, Minnesota area. We know that a healthy and vibrant community must include opportunities for people of all skills and abilities to take an active role in creating that community. For over 40 years, we have been committed to helping those we support to live happy and productive lives surrounded by family and friends.
Our services work to address the physical needs of the children and adults that we serve, build skills of independence, provide support to families or caregivers, and help address any social, behavioral, or medical challenges that they might be facing. By providing support that prioritizes each individual's interests, personal growth, independence, and self-sufficiency, we can empower those we serve to live their lives to the fullest.
Our community is a better, more vibrant place because the individuals we support are here. They are our neighbors and friends, employees and volunteers, children and siblings, classmates and students. They buy groceries and drive cars. They pay taxes. They vote. It is our vision for all individuals to have the same opportunities to enjoy life, strive to reach their potential, and be accepted members of the community.
